A busy week:

It has been a very busy week:
1) Cooper had surgery. It was a minor surgery. The actual procedure took only 17 minutes, although getting the IV into his little arm took much longer. Everyone on facebook was so glad that the surgery went well. We are so lucky to have so many people that care about our family. Here is what they had to say...
Waking up now.....everything went well.

      2) Chelsea had her 29th birthday on July 16th. We went to Bennihana (a Japanese restaurant) with our families and then went up north for a weekend with friends on the lake. Chelsea got an ipad for her birthday (which she loves), so hopefully that will mean more blog posts.

      3) While Tom and Chelsea were up north, Cooper spent the weekend with Grandma Cathy, Grandpa Harve, and Fairy-Aunt-Mother Courtney. It was his first time away from mom overnight. I think it was tougher for Chelsea than Coop. Ohh, one last thing: Cooper's new trick  is sticking out his tongue. He is a pretty happy baby!

Colorado

Don't worry, we made it safely to and from Colorado. Cooper did well on the plane (much better than the obnoxious drunk man in our row.) Over the fourth of July weekend, Chelsea, Cathy, and Cooper went out to Colorado for Kirsten (Chelsea's college friend) and Tom's wedding (not our Tom--a different one). While we were there we spent time with family and friends. Take a look....

Cooper loves his family. He got to hang out with Ally and Mickey. Aunt Coleen got Cooper laughing with her "boom boom" boxing and engaged with finger puppets. He was grabbing on to them left and right. Uncle Bill had such an amazing effect on Cooper. Coop was so in awe with Bill and would instantly calm down in Bill's arms. (I wish we could've taken him home with us for those long nignts.)

Chelsea went to a fun place called Canvas and Cocktails, where she learned to paint poppies with her friends. The instructor showed us how to do these wonderful paintings and kept saying, "let the mimosa do the painting." Everyone's turned out great even those of us that are less artistic.  It was so much fun to spend time with old friends. It was great to catch up and meet new spouses and kids.

Kirsten and Tom's first dance

Kirsten and Tom's wedding was beautiful. It was so great to be a part of their special day; we wish them all the best. They are an amazing couple. At the wedding Chelsea and Cooper visited the photo booth and danced together at the mother/son dance. We enjoyed the ceremony, dinner, dancing, fireworks, and friends.
