My Vacation by Cooper

After a long flight (it was delayed because of the de-icing trucks), we made it to Phoenix. We are at the same hotel that my mom and dad have been to the past 2 years. It is beautiful with pools, fire pits, and a golf course. I've been exploring all over the place.

I listened to Mrs. Clause and got my picture taken with Santa. They had lots of Christmas activities around Scottsdale.

We went to the pinnacle peak patio steakhouse. I was a rebel, so they cut off my tie. It is now stapled to the ceiling of the restaurant. I loved the country band and the pet snakes.

We also saw animals an lights at the Phoenix Zoo's zoo lights show. I took my first carousel ride and loved going up and down. It was so cool!

We got to spend some time every day at the pool. I love to swim! I kicked and kicked and kicked. And we didn't miss the snow and cold back in Minnesota.

Dad and I sat by the fire and ate ice cream in our flannel shirts while the snow machines made fake snow that fell from the sky.

What a fun vacation!

Like mother like son.....

I had to scoop a chunk of dog food out of Cooper's mouth. He had it stuffed in his cheek like a squirrel. Like mother, like son... I guess.

Vacation: Part 3

The Train Ride, July 4th. We rode the train from Seattle, WA to Vancouver, BC Canada. It was Cooper's first trip out of the United States. The three and a half hour train ride was so fun. Cooper walked up and down the isles. We checked out the snack car and spent lots of time looking out the windows. The scenery was beautiful, and we even saw some bald eagles.
